If Image Filtering is enabled, all images in Link Previews come through MyOwnSite.
This means your only connection for news feeds and previews is to MyOwnSite. For employers tracking internet usage, it's often better to show visits to a single site than to 10's or 100's simply because you're viewing a few news articles.
